Our Vice City roleplay server
We are opening a roleplay server set in Vice City, running on FiveM and played in Spanish. It is not open yet and there is no address to give you: it opens before Grand Theft Auto VI does, on November 19, 2026. This is the page where the connection line will appear.
The one thing to know first
ViceCityLore publishes only what Rockstar has published. This page is the exception, and it is an exception we would rather name than bury: the server is ours. We run it, nobody paid us to write about it, and nothing on this page is a claim about Grand Theft Auto VI.
It is a FiveM server, which means it is a multiplayer modification of Grand Theft Auto V running on a machine we rent. Rockstar Games has not announced roleplay servers or mod support for GTA 6, has not endorsed this one, and has nothing to do with it.
Everywhere else on this site, a claim about GTA 6 names the source you can check it against. There is nothing to check here, because there is nothing to check — this is our own plan for our own server, and it should be read as that. How the rest of the site works.
How to join
Not yet. The server is not running, so there is no address to publish — and publishing one that does not connect would be worse than publishing nothing.
When it opens, the connection line appears in this box. It also goes out on Discord and in the newsletter the same day, so neither is something you have to keep checking.
What you will need on the day: Grand Theft Auto V on PC, and the FiveM client. Nothing else, and nothing to pay for here.
What the server is
Written before it opens, so read it as intent rather than as a changelog. If any of it changes, this section changes with it.
Vice City, not Los Santos
The point of the server is the city this site is named after. That means a Vice City map on top of GTA V rather than the default one, and a world dressed to match it.
Played in Spanish
A Spanish-speaking community, with voice and text in character in Spanish and staff in European hours. The site around it stays in English; the server does not.
Built on QBCore
The framework most Spanish-language roleplay servers already run, which means jobs, inventory and the economy work the way people arriving from another server expect them to.
Open before GTA 6 does
The server exists to have somewhere to roleplay in Vice City before November 19, not to replace what Rockstar ships afterwards. Whatever happens to it later, that is what it is for now.
Common questions
- Is there a GTA 6 roleplay server?
- No. Grand Theft Auto VI is not out yet, and Rockstar has not announced mod support, a server browser or any roleplay platform for it. Every roleplay server you can join today, including this one, runs on Grand Theft Auto V through FiveM.
- What is FiveM?
- FiveM is a multiplayer modification for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. It lets people run their own servers with their own rules and scripts, which is what roleplay servers are built on. You need to own Grand Theft Auto V on PC to use it.
- When does the server open?
- Before November 19, 2026, which is the day Grand Theft Auto VI comes out. We have not set a more precise date, and we would rather say that than announce one and then move it.
- How do I join?
- You cannot yet. The server is not running, so there is no address to give you. When it opens, the connection line appears on this page, and it goes out on Discord and in the newsletter the same day.
- What language is the server played in?
- Spanish. ViceCityLore itself is written in English, but the server is a Spanish-speaking community, so voice and text in character are in Spanish.
- Do I need anything besides Grand Theft Auto V?
- The FiveM client, which is free, and a copy of Grand Theft Auto V on PC. FiveM does not work with the console versions of the game, and it does not work with a pirated copy: it checks your Rockstar account.
- Is the server run by Rockstar?
- No. It is run by ViceCityLore. Rockstar Games has no involvement in it and has not endorsed it, and neither this page nor the server is affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
