What this is
About ViceCityLore
A GTA 6 reference built on the idea that you should be able to check everything on it yourself.
In the months before a Grand Theft Auto launch, the gap between what is known and what is repeated gets very wide. Most GTA 6 coverage is aggregation of aggregation: a claim appears, gets restated without its source, and after four hops nobody can tell you where it started or whether anyone ever confirmed it.
This site exists to be the other thing. Every page carries the source next to the claim, so you can go and check it. When something is a community reading rather than a Rockstar statement, it is labelled as one and rendered in its own box. When we have nothing solid, the page says so instead of filling the space.
That means we are sometimes slower and sometimes shorter than sites that will print anything. It also means that when the presentation actually airs, we do not have to delete half the article.
The four rules
Every claim names its source
If a line on this site says something about GTA 6, it says where it came from — a Rockstar trailer, the official site, the Extended Look, or a named outlet. Not 'reports suggest'.
Unverified goes in its own box
Community readings and interpretations are labelled and rendered separately from confirmed material. They are often the interesting part. They are never presented as fact.
No story spoilers
Systems, yes. Plot, no. That holds after launch too, behind a clear warning you choose to open.
We publish our mistakes
When we get something wrong we correct it in place and say what happened. A site whose whole claim is verification cannot quietly edit itself.
Independence
ViceCityLore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto is their trademark and the screenshots on this site are their material, credited as such.
Some outbound links are Amazon affiliate links and are marked. If you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. No article on this site is sponsored, and nothing here has been paid for by anyone.
Getting in touch
Found something wrong? That is the most useful message you can send. Corrections go up with an explanation of what changed. For copyright matters there is a dedicated page, and the community page has everywhere else you can reach us.
