Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar confirmed the date and opened pre-orders against it on June 25, 2026. There is no PC release date.
How the date moved
GTA 6 has been delayed twice, and both times Rockstar announced it rather than letting the date slip quietly.
The first trailer, in December 2023, said 2025. In May 2025 that became May 26, 2026. On November 6, 2025, on Take-Two's quarterly earnings call, it moved again to November 19, 2026, where it has stayed.
What is different this time is that pre-orders are open against the date. That is not a guarantee, but it is a commitment Rockstar had not made at either of the previous two.
Why there is still no PC date
Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all: no date, no storefront, no system requirements. Every PC release date you will find for GTA 6 is somebody's extrapolation from GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which reached PC roughly one to two years after their console launch.
That pattern is real, and it is still not an announcement. We will put a date on this page when Rockstar publishes one, and not before.
